My Day?

So, it's Father's Day. Had a great morning of breakfast with the family. Had a few hours of me time which was nice. Spent a great evening with the kids. And then after the kids went to bed I thought I may get a little one on one time with the wife.

Uhhhhhh.... no. She is frantically trying to finish some project that is part of some knit along that is due by June 30. So I guess my next 13 days are going to involve even more being widowed by knitting than normal.

YEAH, BLOCKING!!!

Name Change

That's it.  I'm changing the names of myself and my children in hopes that we will get more attention from the knitter in our family.

My name is now Skein.
My son's name is now Addi Click.
My daughter's name is now Tink.

How do you know?

So you're probably asking yourself, "How do I know if I'm widowed by knitting?" That is a very good question.  Use this simple test to determine your widowed status.

• Does quality time spent together involve knitting?  Then you may be widowed by knitting.
• Do you have to drive everywhere so your significant other can knit in the car? Then you may be widowed by knitting.
• Does your significant other call in sick to work just so to stay home and finish a knitting project? Then you may be widowed by knitting.
• Have you been turned down for "fun time" because knitting is more important? Then you may be widowed by knitting.
• Does your significant other blog about knitting when they aren't knitting and then Podcast about knitting when they aren't blogging about knitting? Then you may be widowed by knitting.
• Even though you don't knit, do you know more about knitting than people who do knit? Then you may be widowed by knitting.
